Former detective out of jail, sentence modified

Former Warren County Chief Detective Thomas J. Kibbey was released from the Warren County Jail this week after Judge John F. Cherry modified a portion of the sentence imposed following Kibbey's guilty plea to two counts of official oppression. Kibbey, 41, of Warren, pleaded guilty in June to misdemeanor charges stemming from an inappropriate relationship with a confidential informant for the Warren County Drug Task Force. Community Blood Bank schedules blood drives The Community Blood Bank will hold two blood drives in Warren County. The first will be from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, at Warren General Hospital.
