Two additional deaths linked to measles in state

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed two additional measles-associated deaths in Pennsylvania on Tuesday. Both individuals were unvaccinated. One individual lived in Jefferson County and the other lived in Mifflin County. To protect the privacy of both individuals and their families, DOH will not be releasing any additional details that could personally identify them. The Shapiro Administration this week announced $2.2 million in new investments to expand and improve all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and snowmobile trails and facilities across Pennsylvania — strengthening the Commonwealth’s $20.4 billion outdoor recreation industry and boosting rural economies.
