The Allegheny Outdoor Club will be hiking to Gardner Rocks on Sunday. Anyone interested in hiking with the club can meet at the Soil Conservation District trailhead parking lot at 2 p.m. From Arby’s at Hatch Run, travel 1.3 miles on Hatch Run and the trailhead is on the left. Loleta Campground closing for the season on Sunday MARIENVILLE — The USDA Forest Service announced that the Loleta Campground in the Allegheny National Forest will close for the season at noon on Sunday. The closure is necessary to allow for the completion of a road maintenance project.
