Grant awarded The Boy Scouts of America, Chief Cornplanter Council recently received a grant from the Community Foundation of Warren County for their aquatics program held each summer at Camp Olmsted. The grant will provide basic water safety equipment for the camp such as life jackets and rescue equipment for lifeguards to make for safer water recreation and swimming. Each year the Aquatics program provides basic water safety and swimming skills to hundreds of Warren County youth equipping them to be safe on and in the water year around. Genealogical Society to meet The Warren County Genealogical Society will meet on Monday, March 11, at 7:00 p.m. in the dining room of the First Lutheran Church. The guest speaker for the evening will be Ellen Paquette, who will share her historic images of Warren’s Struthers Library Theater and discuss its history. There will also be an opportunity for members and guests to seek research assistance and to share success stories with the group.
