County passes 5K total COVID cases

Warren County surpassed 5,000 total cases of COVID-19 on Thanksgiving Day. According to data from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, there had been a total of 5,001 cases in the county as of Thursday. There were six new cases Thursday and 37 of Wednesday. There have been 4,168 confirmed cases in the county and 833 probables. So far in November, there have been 867 new cases. Two more deaths were announced this week, bringing that total to 151 for the county — 25 of them reported this month. That monthly total matches December for the second-highest in the county. School board settles mask lawsuit

The lawsuit against Warren County School District regarding its masks policies will be dismissed. In order to do away with the suit brought by the parents of nine minor students who were not named, and the federal restraining order and preliminary injunction already issued on the matter, the school board had to approve a consent order.
