Roland L. “Junior” Taylor, 66, of Corry, PA, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the Corry Manor. He was born June 20, 1957 in Corry, PA, a son of the late Roland Taylor Sr. and Sandra (Miles) Taylor Swarm. Junior was raised and educated in Corry and attended Corry Area Schools. After high school, he worked for Crestline for a short period of time and then Dowell. He also worked for Leroy’s Towing for many years, helping out when needed. Oneita J. Coon, 89, formerly of Mickle Hill Rd, Spring Creek, PA passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the Corry Manor. She was born July 30, 1934 in Urbana, Illinois, a daughter of the late Clair and Edna (Messenger) Beardsley. Oneita was raised and educated in Sherman, NY and Spring Creek, PA. She then married and stayed home to raise and care for her family. Oneita later became a Registered Nurse and operated a private Nursing Home. She was born September 23, 1935, in Albion, PA., to the late Marion Rossiter and Maurice Huston. She attended one room schools in her elementary years, graduating from Albion Area High School in 1953, now known as Northwestern. In 1956, she graduated from Hamot Hospital School of Nursing.
