Bernice (Crippen) E. Close, of Youngsville, recently passed away at Warren General Hospital. Bernice was born to William and Louise Crippen, and was a graduate of Youngsville High. After high school, she went on to and graduated from the Hamot School of Nursing, eventually becoming the emergency room nursing supervisor. Bernice was a member of the Irvine Presbyterian Church.
