WATERFORD — Fort LeBoeuf took control with a six-run bottom of the first inning en route to a 13-5 Region 6 baseball win over Warren on Monday. After Duncan McGarry hit into an RBI fielder’s choice to give the Dragons a 1-0 lead in the top of the first, the Bison exploded for six runs in their half of the frame. The Warren softball offense showed up Monday at General McLane, but the Lancers were more than capable of matching the Dragons and then some with a 22-12 Region 6 softball victory in six innings. After giving up four runs in the bottom of the first inning, Warren responded the next chance at the plate and managed to score eight runs. RUSSELL — The Eisenhower Knights were blanked by Seneca 17-0 in Region 3 softball Monday at Werner Park. The Bobcats got on the board early when Haylee Farrell doubled to drive in a run for a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
