Warren volleyball shines at Spiketacular

The Warren Dragons volleyball teams found some pre-season success as they traveled across state borders to the Cedar Point Sports Center in Sandusky, Ohio, where they competed in the Spiketacular Volleyball Tournament. Two teams represented the Dragons where they both delivered an impressive weekend of competition.
Combined, the two Warren teams finished with a strong 12-5 record. The Warren senior team captured the Spiketacular Championship and first-place title, finishing the tournament with a perfect 9-0 record.
Throughout the weekend, teams demonstrated strong teamwork, determination and competitive play as they earned victories over Shaker Heights, Perkins, Trimble, Edison, Lincoln County, Greenville, Field, Lakeside and Utica High School.
In the championship match, Warren faced Utica High School and secured the first-place title with a decisive 25-17, 25-19 victory.
Head volleyball coach Mike Dolan commented on the outing, "Coming off a team championship in the Slippery Rock University team camp, and a second place showing in the 24-team Fort LeBoeuf varsity team camp, this successful weekend provided both Warren teams with valuable experience and momentum as we prepare for the upcoming season. With a talented group of players and a strong foundation built through teamwork and hard work, the Warren Dragons coaching staff is looking forward to a promising and memorable year ahead."
The Lady Dragons seek to build upon their successful 2025 campaign, hoping to repeat as District 10 champions.
