Montecalvo approved as YHS girls hoops coach

The Youngsville girls basketball team will have a new head coach on the bench when the season opens next month, but it will be a familiar face for most of the players. Vicky Montecalvo was approved by the Warren County School District Board of Directors as the Lady Eagles next head coach during the regular meeting Monday. Montecalvo also coaches the Lady Eagles volleyball team. This fall, Montecalvo led the volleyball team to an 8-8 record and a win over Rocky Grove in the opening round of the District 10 playoffs.
