Warren swim team splits at Meadville

MEADVILLE — Warren’s swim team split a Region 3 meet at Meadville on Monday with the Lady Dragons winning 114-48 and the boys falling by two points, 57-55. Individually, Gracie Page won the diving event for Warren, Lucy Harrison 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke, Sam Caudill 100 breaststroke and 200 individual medley, Lexi Paris 100 butterfly, and Violet Spiegel 100 free. McDowell snaps Lady Dragons’ win streak

ERIE — McDowell held Warren’s girls basketball team to single digits in 3 of 4 quarters in a 48-35 Region 6 victory on Friday. The hosts avenged a January loss to Warren and snapped the Lady Dragons’ 6-game winning streak. “We struggled,” said Warren coach Lisa LaVan. “McDowell was better than us, for sure.
