MEADVILLE — Warren’s swim team split a Region 3 meet at Meadville on Monday with the Lady Dragons winning 114-48 and the boys falling by two points, 57-55.

Individually, Gracie Page won the diving event for Warren, Lucy Harrison 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke, Sam Caudill 100 breaststroke and 200 individual medley, Lexi Paris 100 butterfly, and Violet Spiegel 100 free. Warren’s 200 medley relay of Maddie Walker, Caudill, Harrison, and Katie Kroger finished first, as did the 200 free relay of Walker, Harrison, Caudill, and Emma Peterson.

For Warren’s boys, Brody Alexander won the 200 free and 100 breaststroke, and he was a part of the winning 200 free relay with Jacob Retterer, Chris Orth, and Drake Niemetz.

“They all did a great job considering all the sickness going around,” said Warren coach Ronda Retterer. “The team is excited for February 13th when Meadville comes to us for Senior Night. The loss isn’t sitting well with the boys and they can’t wait for the rematch.”
