RIDGWAY – Undefeated Ridgway raced out to a 12-5 lead in the first quarter over visiting Sheffield Tuesday and never looked back as the Elkers rolled to a 75-20 win. The Elkers closed the game even stronger than they finished, outscoring the Wolverines 25-2 in the fourth quarter. Andy Breier and Josh Thorwart each had 17 points for Ridgway, while Johnny Mitchell had 13 and Neil MacDonald added 12 in the win. Cale Albaugh led the Wolverines with nine points. CURWENSVILLE - Sheffield dropped a lopsided AML road contest Friday at Curwensville, 66-31. “It was ugly. Our effort. Our shooting. Our foul trouble. If it could go bad tonight, it did,” said Sheffield coach Brandon Troutman.
