Sheffield girls fall

CURWENSVILLE – Sheffield dropped a lopsided AML road contest Friday at Curwensville, 66-31.

“It was ugly. Our effort. Our shooting. Our foul trouble. If it could go bad tonight, it did,” said Sheffield coach Brandon Troutman.

Madi Weber outscored Sheffield herself, netting a game high 35 points for the Lady Tide.

“She’s a nice player, but we made her look like an All-American,” Troutman noted.

Sheffield closes out the season with three-straight homes games, starting Monday with Brockway.
