RIDGWAY, Pa. – For much of the 2018 softball season, Sheffield has hung with teams only to see a close game blown open by one big inning. Such was the case again Thursday in Ridgway as the Wolverines saw a 2-run game turn into a blowout as Johnsonburg scored nine runs in the third inning to roll to a 17-3 win. “This was just one for a short memory,” Sheffield coach Mark Maines said. Eisenhower drops Region 3 contest to Saegertown

SAEGERTOWN, Pa. – Eisenhower baseball jumped out to an early 3-0 lead at Saegertown Wednesday, but the Panthers answered with a 13-run first en route to a 19-4, 3 inning win. Curwensville welcomed Sheffield softball for a doubleheader Tuesday and the hosts came away with a sweep.
