HERSHEY — The Warren Dragons had four cross-country representatives at the PIAA Championships on Saturday in Morgan Alexander, Riley Evan, Cole Fitzgerald, and Leyton Salvatore.

249 runners participated in the Girls AA event, with Warren’s top-finisher Morgan Alexander ending her high school career with a strong 52nd overall finish, running a pace of 21:01. Riley Evan’s time of 21:58 was good for a 109th place finish. Both seniors end their highly successful cross-country careers with many accolades, including an undefeated Region 4 team record for the 2025 season.

In the Boys AA race, sophomore Cole Fitzgerald earned a 67th place finish out of the 242 runners, with a pace of 17:50. Sophomore teammate Leyton Salvatore’s time of 18:35 earned him a 136th finish in the event.

“I’m very proud of how the kids did today,” Warren head coach Kevin Dustin said. “Ending the season at the state meet is a great way to send out our senior girls Riley and Morgan. Cole and Leyton ended their season here for the second straight year and are learning every year how to get themselves into medal contention. It was a great year for Warren cross-country all around.”

Starting at $3.50/week.
