The varsity girls were narrowly defeated by a score of 31-26. Laney Belcher was the top finisher in the race, with Izzy Grosch (fourth), Callie Delp (fifth), Bryn Lindell (ninth) and Addyson Britt (12th) turning in solid performances.

“We typically don’t have four home meets in a season, but that’s how it worked out this year,” Eisenhower head coach Darlene Beach said. “This gave our kids the opportunity to see how they are performing on the same course throughout the season. We had a lot of strong efforts out there today.”
The junior high girls saw Josie Elms finish first, with teammates Kaylee Ferino (third), Hanna Lund (fourth) and Naveen Mead (fifth) setting fast times with good races for the Knights.
Cameron Lindell finished runnerup in the junior high boys race, with Benny Matson (third), Zack Ayers (fifth) and Dylan Shaffer (seventh) representing the Knights well.
The varsity boys and girls will compete next Saturday in the PIAA District 10 championships in Titusville.
The junior high squad competes next Wednesday at the Junior High District Championship Invitational in Union City.
