ERIE — The Warren girls volleyball team traveled to Erie High on Tuesday and swept the Royals 25-8, 26-24, 25-17.

The Dragons had a second set scare, but were able to rally to get the job done.

Paiden Johnson recorded four aces and Brooke Sherry contributed three; Madelyn Nosel continued her strong senior campaign notching 16 kills, Attie Corey had eight, and Hailey Cabisca collected seven.

Malysia Sorensen added 15 digs; Lilly Newton, Sherry and Cabisca each added one block; and Brynn Norris contributed 33 assists and Peyton Cabisca had three.

Warren’s junio varsity defeated Erie 27-25, 25-27, 15-11. Following are the statistical leaders: Maddy Snell five digs; Lara Pearson three aces, eight kills; Kendall Skerda five kills, six digs; , Michaela Dolan 24 assists, four kills; Kelsey Johnson 12 kills; Grace Schwab two kills; and Adelaide Keeports one kill, one block.

The Dragons host Cochranton on Thursday for Senior Night at Warren Area High School.The jayvee game will start at 6 p.m. with varsity to follow.
