A Warren Area High School Class of 2024 alumnus had an impressive showing at the Bucknell Invitational last weekend.
St. Bonaventure University sophomore Braddock Damore fired rounds of even-par 70, 76 and 72 to earn a 27th overall finish out of the 112-man field, helping the Bonnies to a seventh-place finish out of the deep 18-team event.
“So far this season has been a slow start (for) us and myself,” Damore said. “We have some solid starts under our belts going into our final tournament of the year two weeks from now. So far a lot has been learned this season, but we need to improve on patience and bogey avoidance. The biggest positive our team has had this year is how we managed to show ourselves we can play with whoever, and our talent is there. We just have to let it happen.”
Damore and the Bonnies return to play for their final event of the fall season in two weeks when they travel to Kilmarlic Golf Club in Powells Point, North Carolina for the Old Dominion Invitational.
