The Warren Area High School boys golf team traveled to Meadville Country Club on Tuesday to compete in the annual Marquette Savings Bank Invitational.

The Dragons shot a team score (best 4 of 5) of 352, good for 17th place out of 28 teams in attendance. Cathedral Prep won the team title with a score of 298, followed by Fairview at 302 and Meadville with a 303.

Hayden Hendricks paced the Dragons with a score of 86 followed by Xander Russell with an 88. Gavin Haibach and Zane Carlson each shot an 89, and Michael Palmieri rounded out the team with a 91.

Warren’s next event is Friday when it competes in the three-man Smethport Invitational at Smethport Country Club.
