The Warren girls volleyball team continued its hot streak and defeated Harbor Creek 25-20, 25-17, 25-23 on Tuesday.
Madelyn Nosel led the ace category with four, with Attie Corey following with three, Brynn Norris with two, and Paiden Johnson and Hailey Cabisca with one apiece.
Nosel was a force at the net leading the Dragons with 18 kills. Cabisca added six, and Peyton Wotorson contributed five.
The digs department was loaded as everyone on the team had at least one. Malaysia Sorensen led with 14, and Paiden Johnson was close behind with 11. Julia Getner added two blocks and Brynn Norris had 31 assists.
“It was another tough Region 5 battle and a good win versus a very athletic Harbor Creek team,” Warren head coach Mike Dolan said. “We still have to play cleaner to get better looks on offense, but we served tough and our passing was key from our back-row players. Our block was especially good in slowing down their attack, so we have a lot of good things to keep building on.”
