RUSSELL — Eisenhower fell behind 4-0 in the first half and lost by that same score in out-of-district girls soccer Monday.
The Knights were able to make some halftime adjustments to keep the Flying Dutch off the scoreboard in the second half.
“We didn’t start out strong and it cost us,” Eisenhower head coach Faith Johnson said. “We have to come out ready to play from the start. Hopefully we learn from this and improve.”
BOYS WIN IN OVERTIME
SAEGERTOWN — Easton Fitzgerald scored in overtime as Eisenhower rallied twice to beat Saegertown 3-2 in Region 4 boys soccer Monday.
Rever Caudill and Mason Degnan also scored for the Knights (2-3).
“I was proud of the fight in the boys, they battled back to ice to get the win,” Eisenhower head coach Mike Taylor said. “Hopefully we can build on this game.”
