Ike volleyball honors seniors with sweep of Tidioute on Thursday

RUSSELL — The Eisenhower girls volleyball team honored its seniors Thursday night and it sent them off with a 25-9, 25-8, 25-9 victory over Tidioute.

Eisenhower was led by senior Lainey Font, who had five aces, and fellow seniors Riley Robinault and Lexi Pascuzzi added three apiece. Senior Layla Edwards continued her strong play at the net as she led the way with eight kills, Robinault added five and Font had four. Font also collected six serve receptions and five digs, senior Avery Dalrymple had two serve receptions and six digs and Pascuzzi added 12 digs.

“Our six seniors had the opportunity to play two sets together and first-year player Lizzie Hollis got to see some playing time,” Knights head coach Lori Pascuzzi said. “They played well together. Our program will miss each of these young ladies.”
