Warren hopes to end long losing streak
The Warren Dragons will look for their first win since Oct. 14, 2022, when they host Corry in a 7 p.m. nonregion game today at War Memorial Field.
Warren lost at Conneaut 48-6 in Week 1. Brady Skene completed two passes for 65 yards and a touchdown while Ayden Corbett ran 17 times for 62 yards.
Defensively, the Dragons gave up 299 yards and six touchdowns on the ground, including 136 yards and four touchdowns to Conneaut’s Aidan Ford.
Corry enters tonight’s matchup with a 1-0 record after beating Titusville 49-10 in nonregion Week 1 action.
The Beavers led 6-0 after the first quarter before a 36-3 second quarter put the game away.
Corry quarterback Lucas Baker completed six passes for 115 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for a score.
Connor Sterling also returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown while Keaton Frisina intercepted a pass and ran it back 31 yards for a touchdown.
