Eisenhower suffers 11-0 loss to Kane

KANE — The Eisenhower baseball team was able to squeeze in its non-region game between the storms on Friday afternoon, but the Knights were shut out by Kane 11-0.

The Wolves got on the board in the bottom of the second inning when Kayin Bard doubled down the line, driving in a pair of runs.

Kane, which finished with 10 hits, added three runs in the third inning and tacked on six more in the fourth.

Wyatt Neal, Jarius Casey and Brayden Frank had the hits for the Knights.

Casey went the distance on the mound for Eisenhower (1-9). The right-hander surrendered five earned runs over four innings, struck out four and walked two.

The Knights are back in action on Monday when they travel to Iroqouis for a 4 p.m. game.
