Eisenhower softball, baseball fall

The Eisenhower baseball and girls softball teams welcomed Seneca to Werner Park on Monday and the Bobcats won both games.
In softball, the visitors jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead in the top of the first inning and they never slowed down, defeating the Knights 16-0.
The bobcats had 12 hits while Riley Gafner had the only hit for Eisenhower.
Sophomore Abbie Darr started on the hill for Eisenhower and worked four innings and gave up 10 hits and nine runs (three earned), struck out three batters and walked six.
The lady knights will be back in action today when the Youngsville eagles travel to Werner Park for a cross county game, first pitch is set for 4 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Eisenhower boys lost to the Bobcats 18-0. Alex Knowles and Carson Ferman had the only two hits for the Knights as their record fell to 1-13 overall and 1-8 in Region 4.
