Despite the weather, busy day on the track
COUDERSPORT — Despite weather delays pushing the 2025 Coudersport Track and Field Invitational into the night late on Friday, Eisenhower and Warren athletes earned medals at a rainy CARP Park.
For Eisenhower’s girls, the relay team of Laney Belcher, Izzy Grosch, Peyton Kellogg and Emily Grosch finished first in the 4×800-meter relay in a time of 10:47.70.
Marissa Gourley was third out of 25 runners in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.88 seconds and fifth out of 20 timed runners in the 300 low hurdles in 52.38. Teammate Rosalie Rondeau was sixth out of 39 in the 100-meter dash in 13.56 seconds. Kellogg was fourth out of 30 in the 1,600 in 6:02.99. Lainey Font was sixth out of 25 in the 400 in 1:07.64, just ahead of Warren’s Michaela Dolan (seventh in 1:07.91).
The Lady Knights stood in fifth place out of 14 teams with seven events left to post by press time.
For the Lady Dragons, Hailey Cabisca was fifth out of 23 in the pole vault at 8 feet.
For Eisenhower’s boys, Joseph Gigliotti won the 1,600 ahead of 29 other times in 4:33.85. Ike’s 4×100 relay team of Ryan Chambers, Michael Palmieri, Easton Fitzgerald and Bryceton Wilkins finished fifth in 47.89 seconds.
For Warren, Austin Fiscus earned a medal by finishing fourth out of 32 runners in 54.70. Scott Nichols was sixth out of 15 times in the 300 hurdles in 45.94 seconds. Andrew Haight was fifth out of 32 in discus at 111 feet, 4 inches.
The boys’ meet also had seven events to complete by press time.

COMPETE IN ALTOONA
ALTOONA — In addition to Coudersport, a number of District 10 3A track and field qualifiers competed in Altoona on Friday at the Mt. Lion Classic.
Sophomore Max Spiegel finished second out of 13 high-jumpers with a height of 6-foot-1. He was 17th out of 24 in long jump in 19 feet, and 19th out of 26 in the triple jump in 38 feet, 1-1/2 inches.
In the boys’ 1,600, freshman Leyton Salvatore was 13th out of 25 in 4:46.22. Adon Maier was 12th out of 19 in the 110 hurdle preliminaries with a “PR” of 17.03 seconds. Teammate Cam Williams also had a “PR” in the 300 hurdles in 45.59 seconds.
For the Lady Dragons, Lindsay Madigan was 10th in the 100-meter dash prelims out of 26 in 13.46 seconds and teammate Madelyn Nosel 11th in 13.65, and Nosel was 10th out of 20 in the 200 prelims in 27.43. Madigan was 11th/22 in javelin in 91-08. She was also eighth in long jump in 16 feet and seventh in triple jump in 33-03-1/2.
Gracie Page was sixth out of 18 in pole vault in 8-06. Adison Cullers was 15th out of 26 in the 100-meter hurdle prelims in 17.97, and she was 14th out of 23 in the 300 hurdles in 51.76. Brynn Norris finished 11th out of 26 in the 800 in 2:30.44. Riley Evan was 13th in the 1,600 in a “PR” of 5:38.10. Zoe Rodgers was 10th out of 26 in discus in 86-10.
Warren was seventh in the 4×800 relay in 10:19.71.
