ERIE — Meea Irwin scored all four Warren goals, but Molly Taylor scored five for Mercyhurst Prep in the Lady Dragons’ 7-4 loss in their Saturday girls soccer opener.

Warren trailed 4-3 at the half. Lani Wenzel assisted Irwin’s first goal to tie it 1-1. Leyna Irwin later connected with two long passes to Meea Irwin for her second and third goals to tie it at 3-3. Meea Irwin added an unassisted goal in the second half.

Bella Campbell had her first varsity start in goal and recorded 11 saves for Warren (0-1).

The senior Taylor assisted on the Lakers’ other two goals scored by Clarissa Lewis and Brigid Ochalek, respectively.

Warren plays today at McDowell.
