Warren volleyball gets to wait for its District 10 playoff opponent, while Eisenhower gets right at it in the Class 1A quarterfinals against West Middlesex at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at Cochranton High School.

West Middlesex finished 15-5 overall and 12-0 as champion in Region 1. Eisenhower is 8-8 overall and in fourth place in Region 2. It looks like a true No. 8 seed vs. No. 1 in the eight-team bracket.

Warren is the No. 2 seed in the six-team D10 3A bracket after losing the Region 5 title to Meadville on Thursday.

Both Meadville (13-1) and Warren (13-2) receive byes into the semifinals, and Warren is scheduled to take on the winner of Conneaut and Hickory, which meet Wednesday at Cochranton High School. The Dragons swept Hickory on Sept. 21, and edged Conneaut, 3-2, earlier this month.

Conneaut topped Warren in last year’s D10 3A championship for its fourth straight title.

Warren’s semifinal against Conneaut or Hickory is set for Tuesday, Oct. 31, at a time and sight to be determined.
