Jr. high cross country

Beaty Warren Middle School’s boys cross country team was second out of 13 teams in Saturday’s John Sample Cross Country Invitational in Grove City.

Individually, Beaty eighth grader Cole Fitzgerald finished second among 148 individual junior high boys. He finished in 11:11, 13 seconds off of leader Miles Jenny of first-place Grove City.

Beaty teammate Leyton Salvatore was seventh overall in 11:28, and Reilly Morgan 12th in 11:36. Other Beaty finishers included Grayson Collopy (43rd, 12:51), Jonah Brinkley (52nd, 13:17), Levi Peterson (54th, 13:20), and Mason Warner (67th, 13:50).
