Lindell, Rulander are top 5 at Rocket Invite
TITUSVILLE — Warren sophomore Sam Lindell and senior Shyann Rulander finished in the top five in their respective cross country races at Saturday’s Rocket Invite.
Lindell, a sophomore, was fourth out of 182 finishers in the varsity boys race hosted by Titusville. His time of 16 minutes, 13 seconds was just five seconds off second place.

The Lady Dragons finished eighth out of 13 teams scoring.
“We opened up our first meet of the year at the Titusville Invite, which is the districts course that we will see again in October,” said Warren cross country coach Kevin Dustin. “We had a lot of quality performances and it’s great to get the season going and back to racing.”
Also in the varsity girls race, Warren junior Kasey Kophazy was 86th in 25:38, freshman Loralei Johnson 103rd in 27:07 and freshman Brady Caudill finished in 34:46.

“Leyton Salvatore and Emma Peterson both medaled in the junior high race as well,” said Dustin.
