Kimio Nelson, head instructor of Fighting Tigers Martial Arts of Warren, was inducted into the USA Karate 2022 USA Karate Hall of Fame. He was inducted into three different categories Athlete, Official and Coach. The induction was performed on Saturday, March 26 at the Sheraton Eatontown, New Jersey.

Nelson, owner and head instructor of Fighting Tigers Martial Arts, is a 7th degree black belt in Shotokan Karate and also holds ranking in four other martial arts styles. He has been training and teaching the martial arts since 1973 and has served as a national referee and team coach in the USAKF, AAU Karate and National Black Belt League in the Traditional Japanese Divisions.
