Grady Corey scored 8 points in a 12-7 fourth quarter to help Warren’s freshmen boys basketball team to a 49-43 win over Jamestown (N.Y.) on Thursday at Warren Area High School.
Chase Sitler led the Dragons with 19 points and Corey finished with 14 in the win.
David Huffman added 6 points for 2-2 Warren.
Jayian Johnson scored a game-high 21 points to pace Jamestown.
BARNES LEADS WAY
Braylon Barnes scored 11 of his 15 points in a 21-5 first quarter en route to a 63-38 win for Warren’s junior varsity boys basketball team over Jamestown (N.Y.) on Saturday afternoon at WAHS.
Anthony Errett added 14 points, Brady Berdine 10, and Owen Becker eight for Warren.
Carson Panebianco led Jamestown with 13 points and Sam Arrington added 10.
There was no varsity contest between the schools.
