The Kinzua U10 team finished an impressive season on Sunday by defeating ISA-Erie Creekside 12-0. RJ Frederick scored five goals and Jackson Warner had two while Jack Abplanalp, Ashton Carrington, Caleb Fralick, Gideon Schmidt and Brody VanGuilder each added one. Goals were assisted by Cole Enos, Amelia Smyth, Carrington, Fralick, Frederick and Schmidt. The shutout was earned by goalkeepers Warner and Abplanalp, but they were barely tested because of the strong defensive play of Ada Gage, Smyth, Frederick, Carrington and others. The team went 6-0 in PA West’s Lake District this fall with big wins over teams from Clarion, Shenango Valley, Erie, and Meadville, outscoring opponents 52-4.
