In this week’s shoot in the Warren County Fall Trap League, Sugar Grove shot the high team score followed by Brokenstraw.

Brokenstraw’s Dale Johnson had the lone perfect 50.

Brokenstraw’s Taylor Hansen was High Lady with a 46. Sheffield’s Cooper Nystrom was High Jr. with a 47. Kalbfus’ Connor Loomis was High Sub Jr. with a 30. Sugar Grove’s Kev Sturzenbecker and Kalbfus’ Chuck Loomis tied for High Veteran honors with 48s. Kalbfus’ Chuck Gern was High Sr. Veteran with a 48. Brokenstraw’s Ed Wurst and Tidioute’s Conrad Shearer tied for High Super Sr. Veteran with 45s.

Youth running

Youngsters in grades first through sixth will be eligible to run in a 1-mile “Cross Country Stampede” on Oct. 16 at the course behind Strider Field in Jamestown.

The times of the runs are as follows: 1-2 grade, 1:30 p.m.; 3-4 grade, 1:55 p.m.; and 5-6 grade 2:20 p.m. The top 10 finishers in each race will win a T-shirt The cost is $10. Make checks payable to Jamestown Cross Country Boosters. Day-of registration is $15.
