LAKEWOOD, N.Y. — Peter Hofert, Mike Peyton, Neil Himber and Chris Buzzetto won a three-way tie with a match of cards at the Youngsville Senior League’s season-ending scramble at Maplehurst Country Club.
Denny Howe, John Blum, Rick Hutley and Marty Yucha also tied Art Ward, Rod Korbar, Fred Carder and Emil Bundy.
The league also recognized some highlights of the season.
Howe and Tim Sandberg shot the low gross with 34s. Juan Torres and Dave Lang shot net 28s. Randy Abplanalp and Torres had the most points in a round with 9.5. Howe, Hutley and Bill Kulinski each made two eagles.
Kulinski made a hole-in-one.

Don Melson earned the Wally Holmes Memorial Award for most points on the season with 102.5.
Torres’ 6.61 points per round earned him the Dyer/Engstrom Award.
