“It’s nice to see some big numbers back on the scoreboard, although I still know we’re capable of hitting better,” said Warren coach Carissa Stuart. “We’re on a great streak; we need to finish strong and get two more.”
Katie Madigan, Rylie Yeager, and Kelsey Stuart started the hit parade in the first that was helped by three East errors. Madigan finished with two of the Dragons’ seven hits.
Warren hosts Conneaut (10-5, 7-4) today and travels to Conneaut on Thursday in its final two region regular-season games.
In the junior varsity game, later Tuesday, Yeager allowed just an unearned run in an 11-1 Warren win. Lily Devore and Yeager had three hits for Warren, and Kylie Fehlman, Halle Kuzminski, and Lexi Hoffman added two apiece
