Ordiway nets 23, Warren boys win again

Parks Ordiway scored 23 points and Warren won its ninth straight, beating Fort LeBoeuf, 58-45, Saturday at Warren Area High School.

Ordiway hit five 3-pointers for Warren, which improves to 15-4 overall and 9-4 in Region 5. Payton Barnes finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Dragons.

“I think we did a good job on the glass as a team,” said Warren coach Jeff Berdine. “We were expecting a physical game, and that’s what we got. I thought the guys did a good job of adjusting to that style of play.”

Ben Berdine and JT Blum added nine points each for the Dragons, who are at Franklin on Monday.

Warren led 38-23 after three quarters.

The Dragons will finish their regular season this week and await word on the District 10 playoffs, which begin Friday.
