Weak decision
Dear Editor,
What a disgrace that the Democratic hopeful couldn’t even attend Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to Congress.
That fact is, it’s not the word “couldn’t,” it’s the word “wouldn’t.”
It’s obvious she needs to appease the anti-Israel-America hate mongers. The strings of the new puppet are already being pulled. This country should be very concerned about the direction she will take the United States.
The global condition calls for a strong leader. And it’s not her.
We’ve seen nothing yet. That’s not pessimism. That’s realism.
Even so, come, Lord Jesus (Revelation 22:20).

Silence not golden
Dear Editor,
To the people out there who think or believe that others as myself are not or should not speak of religion or politics or anything for that matter while in a public place, tough deal with it!
Not too sure where the notion ever came from that if you don’t like what I’m saying that I must cease talking so as to not offend you! That’s just not the way it works here in the good ole USA land of the free!
Many many veterans gave up large amounts of blood, guts, sweat and tears, and life itself to give us the right of expression and speech and that very right does not end where your feelings begin! Therefore I suggest if someone is speaking of something that you do not want to hear simply do not listen, go to the other side of the room so as to not hear that person, or just leave!
But either way far right, far left, in the middle of your political beliefs speak what you want when you want you have the right!
Shame on anyone who thinks any differently! And to hell with any organization, especially a veterans organization that posts on their front door, any restrictions on their patrons freedom of speech!
That is something that you would find in a communist country or a dictatorship! Very very sad!
