Illegal aliens or criminals?
Dear Editor:
How can any elected official in the United States support illegal immigrants, undocumented immigrants, and refugees? Why aren’t the voters showing displeasure in this support? All I hear lately is news about sanctuary cities vowing to block ICE actions and to defy government actions. How is this happening? People are labeling all illegal aliens as criminals. There is great backlash about this across the United States concerning immigration right now? I keep asking myself, why is there backlash over this issue. News reports tell of people saying illegal immigrants are not criminals. It is very clear to me they are criminals. If they are “illegal” aliens/immigrants, they are not here legally, therefore, breaking the law, making themselves criminals. The supporters of these illegal aliens are skewing the public’s view into making it sound as if all illegal aliens a violent. This is not the case in many instances, but one fact stands….THEY ARE HERE ILLEGALLY, THEY ARE BREAKING LAWS, AND THEREFORE THEY ARE CRIMINALS! My last thought is that the voters in these areas are blinded by the media turning anything political into a circus and deflecting attention where it really needs to go. These voters need to wake up and realize that their taxes are being used to support undocumented immigrants, i.e. illegal aliens, i.e. CRIMINALS! I wonder if they also realize that some of them are getting medical insurance, social security, food stamps, housing assistance, education, etc….Without paying into the system! Oh and also taking jobs away from LEGAL U.S. CITIZENS!
