Rodney A. Retterer, 69, of Cherry Grove, Pa passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026.

Arrangements are under the direction of The Davis-Garr Cremation & Funeral Services of Erie, PA. He was born on Nov. 4,1956 to Keith Retterer and Birte (Handest) Retterer. He graduated from WAHS in 1975. He worked in the oil fields and was a welder. He loved to play golf. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pleasant Twp.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his Daughter, Jennifer Truesdale of Clarendon, his Grandchildren, Cameron Retterer & Wife, Jennifer of Kane, Alexander & Lauren Truesdale of Clarendon, one Great-Granddaughter Ava Retterer, of Kane. He is survived by 3 brothers: Dennis(Nancy) Lane Of Pittsburgh, PA, Gary (Susan) Lane & Brian (Darla) Retterer and one sister, Susan (George) Canada, Jamestown, NY

He was preceded in death by his parents, by his daughter, Jamie M. Retterer, and a brother Keith.

As per his wishes there will be no visitation or services.
