Dorothea (Maier) Park, 93, of Warren passed away at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House on Dec. 18, 2025. Dorothea was born in Lorch, Germany in 1932, and she moved to the United States when she was young.
Dorothea was the loving and devoted wife of John W. Park for 62 years before his passing on
Sept. 21, 2025. Dorothea remained active at the YMCA up until she was 92 years old, and she would always volunteer her time at the First Methodist Church.
Dorothea is survived by her son, Christopher Park and wife Shelley of Warren; grandson, Jacob (Angela) Park of Carlisle, PA; granddaughters, Sarah Park of Atlanta, GA and Amanda Park of Paris, France; step-grandson, Dustin (Megan) Nuhfer; step-granddaughters Jessica (Andrei) Turchyn and Kelsey (Jordon) Garoutsos; niece, Susan Park Guidry; and nephews, Keith Hartman and Klaus Katzleberger. Dorothea will also be missed greatly by her dear friends Paul and Myong Ignatius and their family.
Dorothea was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Park; her son, Michael Park; her grandson, Nathan Park; and her sister-in-law, Cynthia Hartman.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Pennsylvania Ave E Warren, PA 16365. Friends will be received at First Methodist Church, 200 Market St., Warren, PA, on Saturday, January 10, 2025, from 11 am to 12 pm, at which time a Memorial Service will be held there at 12 pm, with Reverend Jon Swart, Associate pastor, officiating. Luncheon to follow.
Inurnment will take place at Oakland Cemetery.
The family suggests Memorial donations be made to the John and Orpha Blair Hospice House.
