Cynthia L. Knapp

Cynthia “Cindy” Louise Knapp, 69, of Warren, PA, passed away on Jan. 14, 2026, at Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Warren after battling an illness. She was born on Aug. 6, 1956, in Warren, to Arlene and Robert Knapp.

Cindy graduated from Warren Area High School in 1974. She worked as a secretary for the radio stations WNAE & WRRN FM and then worked as a secretary for the DPW in Warren for over 20 years, from which she retired. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Warren for 20 years. She was an Elder of the church and sat on many committees, one being the music and worship, and another being Pathfinders. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Watson Memorial Home. In her free time, she enjoyed yardwork around her home, listening and dancing to music, and watching movies. She was always open to helping a friend or anyone if they needed something.

Cindy is survived by her brothers, Hal (Fae) and Dave (Theresa) Knapp; her “cousin-sister”, Suzanne (Terry) Hunt; numerous cousins; and her “Possey”, Sue Spangler, Kay Dolan, and Vickie Eggleston.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation for Cindy will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 300 Market St, Warren, PA, 16365, on Jan. 30, from 10-11AM with a memorial service to follow at 11AM, Rev. Pastor Tara Eastman officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the WGH Cancer Care Center, 105 Lee St, Warren, PA, 16365, and Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, 205 Water St, Warren, PA, 16365, and Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Ave, Warren, PA, 16365. Memorial donations in Cindy’s name may be made out to any of those organizations.

Inurnment will take place at Warren County Memorial Park.
