Ann L. Rossman
Ann L. Rossman
Ann Leslie (Jarvis) Rossman, 72, of Warren, PA, passed away peacefully and surrounded by love on Dec. 17, 2025. She was welcomed into eternal life and reunited with her beloved husband, Randy Rossman, who preceded her in death on this same day seventeen years prior. She and Randy built a beautiful life grounded in faith, love, and devotion to family. Together, Randy and Ann raised three beautiful daughters: Jennifer, Leslie, and Emily, instilling in them the values of faith, compassion, humility, and love that continues to guide their lives. Ann was the daughter of Howard and Beattie Ann Jarvis, sister to Linda Cylenica and Todd Jarvis, loving and faithful wife, and the heart of her family.
Ann was proud of being an RN, always kept her license, however her true profession was being a caregiver. She felt lucky to stay at home raising her family. She cherished decorating her house for all holidays, preparing and serving a favorite meal, and enjoying conversation and playing games afterwards. Ann was proud to volunteer and help with church functions or any organization that needed her. She was a volunteer youth group leader at First Salem UMC where she impressed her love of the Lord onto young church members. Ann loved nothing more than packing up her motorhome for a family trip to anywhere or nowhere. She loved summer trips to Ogunquit, Maine, winter trips to Florida, and the family favorite summer of 1990 a cross country trip out West in the Winnie.
Family was Ann’s greatest joy. She was a devoted grandmother to Jada, Gavin, Austin, Cory, Ashley, Sophia, Eli, Nyles, and great grandchildren Hunter, Maddie, Amelia, and Rocky. She loved in small, meaningful ways that made each person feel so special and important. She never missed a birthday, a milestone, or an important moment- always the first to call with well wishes, to offer encouragement, or to celebrate a success. Her home was stocked with her grandchildren’s favorite snacks “just in case” they stopped by, her DVR programmed with their favorite shows, and her recliners ready to be pushed together, because close wasn’t close enough. She delighted in sharing what made them happy-sending thoughtful cards, even for the holidays that were hardest to find, watching their shows and movies (even when they were bad), and just being in the know about their lives. She loved her cousin, nephews, and nieces, Tim, Tom, Christine, Rory, Carly, Simone, and Celine.
To her granddaughter, Jada, Ann was more than a grandmother; she was a teacher and her greatest cheerleader. She made the world feel safe and full of possibility, taking sincere interest in every passion and dream. They sang together, played the piano, and shared their love of music. Ann instilled a deep love of learning and faith through library trips, bedtime stories, and walks to and from church. Above all, she taught kindness by living it, showing that the smallest gestures are often the ones that matter most.
Ann paid attention. She asked about friends, remembered the details of everyday life, and always showed up-whether to celebrate, offer comfort, or simply to listen to her dearest friends, the Ya-Ya’s. No matter the hour or the distance, she was always there.
Ann lived her faith through action. She gave freely of everything she had: her time, her resources, her advice, and, most of all, her love, while never expecting anything in return. She was both the life of the party and a quiet servant, joyful and devoted, passionate and faithful. Her generosity left pieces of her heart with so many, ensuring that her Spirit will continue to live on
Even in her final days, Ann kept her sense of humor and her gentle wisdom, reminding those she loved to find joy, to stay hopeful, and to trust fully in God’s plan.
Ann Rossman was a true light in this world. Her legacy is one of unconditional love, selfless service, and deep faith-her legacy that will live on in every life she touched and every heart she helped shape.
Let’s celebrate in true Annie fashion with one last Open House enjoying snacks and memories at Grace UMC, 501 PA Ave East, on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, from 3-5pm.
