Helen Ann Hubbard

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Helen Ann Hubbard,71, of Clarendon, PA, on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. She passed on to heaven with her loving husband at her side hand in hand.

Helen was born December 26, 1951, in Warren, the daughter of the late John P. and Betty L. (Wehrer) Gerarde, of Tiona, PA. She was a 1969 graduate of Warren Area High School. She was employed for several years at Keystone Stamping. Helen then worked at Blair Corporation from which she retired.

Helen and Bob were devoted to each other, both preferred to spend their free time together. Taking many road trips and adventures through the years. Oftentimes bringing along nieces and nephews on their adventures. Some of her favorite hobbies were watching the soaps, feeding the birds, and watching the birds, deer, and bears around her home and sneaking to casinos. She especially loved her family, they filled most of her time. Her home was quite often where family would gather for holidays and parties. All of us were so lucky to have Helen in our lives. She would do anything for us. Her generous heart would help anyone in need, but never asking anything from anyone herself. She was always an angel with a contagious sense of humor and still is.

Helen is survived by her husband, Robert E. Hubbard, whom she married on November 12, 1986; siblings, John Gerarde and wife Donna of Round Rock, TX, Alice Wiles and husband Keith of Cedar Park, TX, Janet Guiffre of Warren, David Gerarde of Warren, Tony Gerarde and wife Chris of Denver, CO, Patrick Gerarde of Denver, CO, Steve Gerarde and wife Cindy of Warren, and Marie Tome of Warren; several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews; and her loving dog, Rosie.

In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by a son, Daniel S. Greene, in September 2022; brothers, Chuck, Frank, and Tim Gerarde.

Services for Helen will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
