Curtis Oliver Rulander

Curt graduated from Youngsville High School. Curt served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Osram Sylvania for 36 years, from which he retired in 1996. He was a member of the Scandia Covenant Church. He always enjoyed having picnics and riding around visiting his friends. Most of all, he loved milkshakes.

Curt is survived by his sons, Jeffrey (Melody) Rulander of Russell, PA, Randy (Darla) Rulander of Warren, PA, John (Wendy) Rulander of Warren, PA, and Scott Rulander of Sandpoint, ID; one daughter, Susan Middleton (Ken Prettyman) of Russell, PA; eleven grandchildren, Jeffrey Rulander, Jeremy Rulander, Tia Rulander, Jack Rulander, Nicole Davis, Nathan Davis, Ashley Davis, Rob Middleton, Andy Prettyman, Sam Prettyman, and Shyann Rulander; thirteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Frederick (Lovena) Rulander of North Warren, PA, and Lester Rulander of Pittsfield, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Curt is preceded in death on April 9, 2021, by his wife, Marian (Cable) Rulander, whom he married on March 12, 1955, at Pilgrim Holiness Church in Warren, PA; daughter, Cynthia (Rulander) Davis; brothers, Howard Rulander, Herbert Rulander; sisters, Marie Johnson, Lettie Anderson, Velma Rulander, and Violet Thomas.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 30 at the Scandia Fire Hall from noon to 1 pm. Memorial service will start at 1 pm, with Rev. James Swanson officiating. A private burial will take place at Davey Hill Cemetery.
