Carol J. Crocker

Carol J. Crocker, 90, of Warren, Pa., passed away on July 25, 2023, at the Warren County Rouse Home.

Carol was born July 13, 1933, in Warren, Pa., the daughter of the late Ellis B. and Margaret Hill Johnson. Carol was a 1951 graduate of Warren High School and worked in the offices of Blair Corporation and GTE Sylvania. She then moved to Susquehanna, Pa., for a few years and worked for the Jewel Tea Company in Binghamton, N.Y. Relocating again, she worked as an office manager for the Golden Spike Restaurants in Pittsburgh and Clarion, Pa. Carol later settled back to Warren and worked in the Production Accounting Department at the United Refinery, from which she retired in 1995.

Carol was an avid reader and enjoyed card games, MAH JONGG, dominoes, and bingo.

Carol is survived by her niece Barbie A. White (Richard), great niece Kara White, great niece Erin Cochran (Ryan), great-great niece Sydnie Cochran, great-great nephew Carter Cochran, niece Lauri, Wroblewski (Scott), niece Kris Whitaker (Craig), niece Kerry Lynn Thompson (Bill), five nephews: George Jerman, James Jerman (Julu), John Jerman, Patrick Jerman (Shari), and Stephen Jerman; and also her dear friend, Sue Dunkle.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death on Aug. 2, 2009, by her husband, Floyd “Buzz” Crocker, whom she married on Aug. 25, 1973; her beloved daughter Sheryl Lynn Snyder in 1970; two brothers: Howard and James Johnson; a sister Barbara Ann Jerman; a nephew William Jerman, and a niece Molly Johnson Turner.

A graveside service will be held on August 5, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. at the Oakland Cemetery, with the Rev. Jeffrey Ewing officiating.
