Randy Hedstrand

Randy was a lifelong Warren resident and was employed at the Warren State Hospital for several years in the Dietary Department, retiring due to illness. Randy enjoyed music, artwork and drawing, and reading. He was well read on many subjects, including world religions. He especially enjoyed his family, his grandchildren and friends.

He is survived by one daughter, Chastity Prine and husband James Pratz of Warren; one sister, Lori Simmons and husband Herbert, of Starbrick; five grandchildren, Zarah, Isiss, Zed, Raina, and Razzlin; and his niece and nephew, Lacey and Shawn O’Grady.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Cora Hedstrand, his aunt, Betty Hedstrand, and his longtime companion, Beth VanGuilder.

Burial will be in the Weiler Cemetery.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
