James Kuzminski
James Walter Kuzminski, 57, of Lander, passed away after a lengthy battle with the genetic disorder, Huntington’s disease on January 26, 2018, at Rosemont Care and Rehab Center. Jim was born June 14, 1960, in Warren, PA. He is the son of Edward and the late Marjorie (Smith) Kuzminski, who also suffered from Huntington’s disease.
Jim was a 1979 graduate of Eisenhower High School, where he participated in football and wrestling. For several years, Jim worked for Warren Concrete. He had also worked for the National Forge and Anderson Construction. An avid outdoorsman, Jim loved hunting with his dogs, Dutch and Snoopy; fishing; fourwheeling; snowmobiling and camping with his family and friends.
Jim is survived by his wife, Fawn; three daughters, Stephanie, Casi and Becky; his father Edward; three brothers, Ed (Cathy), David and Dean (Tara); a sister, Sue; four grandchildren, Dravin, Daren, Brandon, and Hunter James; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Sugar Grove Fire Hall, 5 Wilson Street, Sugar Grove, PA, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
