James Costlow

He was born August 23, 1942 in Beaverdale, PA, the son of Robert and Hazel MacTavish Costlow.

Jim was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War and was a committed advocate of POWs/MIAs.

He was a long standing member of the IAM machinist union.

Before retiring he had been employed at Jamestown Metal Products.

He enjoyed wildlife and was an avid fisherman.

Jim is survived by four children: Kelly Dawn Wadsworth of Sheffield, Robert Francis Costlow of Jamestown, Jason Garrett (Carrie) Costlow of Elizabethton, TN, and Shawna Leigh (Mike) Becker of Jamestown; ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; three sisters: Sandie (Jack) Kost of Russell, PA, Debbi (Joe) Guiffreda of Gerry, Bonnie (Ed) Nelson of Ashville, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his loving cat, Chase.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by a son, James Albert Costlow ll, and three brothers, Robert, Richard, and Dennis Costlow.

A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg.

Burial will be in Wesleyan Cemetery, Sugar Grove, PA.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
